Senior Management Accountant

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: £45000 - £50000 per annum

My client, in the financial services sector are recruiting for a Qualified Senior Management Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Finance this role will allow you to oversee the day to day operations of a finance function; this would be a great first step into a leadership role. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Preparation of annual budgets and half year reforecasts, including cash flows
  • Ensure all reporting requirements are met, both statutory and regulatory
  • Scenario modelling
  • Be the main point of contact for the Group's auditors, insurance brokers, etc
  • Supervise and mentor a Finance team of three
  • Deputise for the Head of Finance when necessary
  • Other ad-hoc projects which may arise

The successful candidate must have the following experience:

  • Be fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
  • Experience of Financial Services preferred
