Senior Financial Accountant
Based: Blackburn, Hybrid flexible working
Salary: Up to 60k, flexible/hybrid working, excellent benefits including 26 days holidays plus stats


Our client, a global business, who are growing rapidly are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team, this is a new role due to a number of aquisitons and growth plans and also an internal promotion. This role is a key hire for the business and we are looking for someone with a passion for improving financial controls and delivering insightful management reporting. This role would suit someone AVA/ACCA qualified

Responsibilities include:

- Lead the audits and other tasks required for completion of the Group statutory accounts
- Proactively drive tax initiatives in support of the Group's CT Strategy.
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts as required for the business
- Proactively and tightly manage the Group's cash and working capital.
- Robust review of subsidiary management accounts and controls including reconciliations on all Group balance sheet accounts.
- On time consolidation and preparation of monthly MI pack, Group accounts and supporting schedules.
