Our client are a global services business, extremely well-known for their approach, values and global solutions to their clients. They are growing rapidly, now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their finance team in a new role due to a number of acquisitions and business growth. This role is a key hire for the business and we are looking for someone with a passion for improving financial controls and delivering insightful management reporting. This role would suit someone ACA/ACCA qualified in a 2nd or 3rd time move from practice

Role:

  • Lead the audits and other tasks required for completion of the Group statutory accounts
  • Consolidation and preparation of monthly MI pack, group accounts and supporting schedules
  • Robust review of subsidiary management accounts and controls including reconciliations on all group balance sheet accounts
  • Proactively drive tax initiatives in support of the Group's CT Strategy.
  • Preparation of budgets and forecasts as required for the business
  • Proactively and tightly manage the Group's cash and working capital.

Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified Accountant, audit experience required
  • Audit 1st, 2nd, 3rd time mover with strong accounts knowledge
  • Experience of D365 desirable but not essential
  • Group finance exposure desirable
  • Detailed understanding of internal control frameworks and risk management
