Senior Management Accountant

I am currently looking for a Senior Management Accountant to support the Head of Finance for a leading distribution company in South Manchester. As Senior Management Accountant you will be involved in both month end activities but also providing commercial support to the wider business.

  • Supporting the business to achieve its financial objectives through financial analysis, business insight and solutions
  • Working closely with Production, Stock and Commercial teams to interrogate margins, costings and look at where the business is most profitable
  • Monthly management accounts for 2 entities, delivering P&L's and commentary to heads of departments
  • Balance sheet reconciliations for the 2 entities
  • Collaborate with senior management to devise robust 12 months rolling business plans
  • Facilitate the annual product costing and customer pricing process, by providing financial support and margin analysis
  • KPI implementation and monitoring
  • Develop and improves all systems, processes & reporting

This is a newly created role which will give you such a good opportunity to really add value whilst learning from a great mentor. Suitable applicants must either be qualified or a finalist, be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role and also have an inquisitive mindset which will allow you to provide sound commercial insight.
