Sales Ledger Administrator

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £25,000 (negotiable depending on experience)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Sales Ledger Administrator to join one of our clients based in Manchester. This role will require the relevant individual to be all-rounded in terms of assisting the credit controller, raising sales invoices and processing purchase invoices.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a results driven individual to gain exposure to well-known international corporations. The business turned over an impressive £50 million in the last 12 months and is looking to continue to grow with ambitious future plans.

No qualifications are required for this role, being highly focused on excellent work ethic, attention to detail and the willingness to persevere. An ideal candidate will have experience of invoice discounting, working in a stock environment, and be proficient at Excel.

As the Sales Ledger Administrator:

  • You will be experienced in all aspects of Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Invoice Discounting & Stock Environment based working
  • You will be responsible for assisting the Credit Control function in the team.
  • Familiarity with accounting software that includes Sage 2,000 would be a huge advantage.
  • Excel experience is ESSENTIAL.
  • A solid background in an 'Invoice Discounting' and stock environment will be required in order to fit in within the team.
  • If you do not possess any experience in 'Sales Ledger' or 'Invoice Discounting', please do not apply for the position.

Skills:

  • Strong analytic and numerical skills to deal with large volumes of data
  • Able to prioritise workload and demonstrate flexibility
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and independent with an enthusiastic can-do approach
  • Team player
