Research Data Administrator

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: £20000 - £25000 per annum + Benefits


A successful research & technology SME based in Manchester are seeking a Research Data Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis, paying £20,000-£25,000pa. This role will be home-based, so you can be based from anywhere in the UK, and is a fantastic opportunity to further grow your career within a Research capacity, as this administrative role has the potential for you to progress into a Researcher role.
The purpose of the role is to provide comprehensive Administrative support to the Research team, to contribute to the smooth running and delivery of their research. Please see below an overview of the role:

  • Producing and analysing reports - working on excel, including pivot tables, Vlookups etc
  • Maintenance of databases, data downloads and data cleansing
  • Setting up surveys and testing
  • Arranging interviews, focus groups and other meetings
  • Record keeping
  • App usage support and reporting on technical issues for the technology side of the business
  • Production of presentations on PowerPoint, Prezi, PDF etc
  • General Administration duties as required


To be considered for the role, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • A degree within Science, Social Sciences, Sociology, Psychology or other human sciences degree
  • Experience working on excel
  • Database management skills
  • Great communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Organised and proactive
  • Experience working on Microsoft packages
  • Ability to produce statistical summaries
