Part Time hours - 21-28 hours per week

Bury based business - Hybrid working across part time hours
Salary - up to £40k (FTE) + Bonus & Benefits
My client are a Family run £30million T/O Food Wholesale business based in Bury.
Due to a consistent period of growth, the business are looking to secure an experience Quality Management and Health & Safety specialist to join them on a part time basis.
This is a critical role for the business and will be integral to ensuring the standards are maintained across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading on Food safety audits
- Health and Safety
- Compliance visits
- Chairing our H&S meetings
- Liaising with insurance
- Overseeing our facilities - keeping standards high, coordinating site maintenance, etc.
- Support with ISO accreditation projects - experience with ISO19001 and ISO14001 would be really beneficial.
The successful candidate will have IOSH or an equivalent as well as experience within internal audit - experience of BRC or STS Storage and distribution audits would be desirable but not essential.
You will have external H&S support through a third party provider and also would have access to the company's food safety consultant. This position doesn't have any direct reports and therefore is a full end to end role
