Our exclusive client, based in Tarleton, is looking for a senior Purchase Ledger Clerk to add to their established team. The purpose of the role is to carry out manage the Purchase Ledger and mentor a junior assistant. The role would suit a self-motivated and balanced individual who enjoys challenges and building long-lasting customer relationships.

The role:

  • Processing invoices on both SAGE and the purchase order system
  • Coding up invoices to the relevant nominal code
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Supplier Payment runs
  • Co-Management of a ledger clerk
  • Performing period end tasks
  • Posting bank payments
  • General housekeeping and keeping the ledger tidy


Job requirements:

-2 years of doing Purchase Ledger
-Proactive and motivated
-Excellent verbal and written communication
