Purchase Ledger Manager

Purchase Ledger Manager- 30 hours
Location: Swinton
Salary: up to £26,000 dependant on experience

We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager to join a business based in Swinton on a part time, permanent basis.

The main objectives of the role is to manage the purchase ledger process from PO requisition to invoice payment, review & analyse processes and identify & support with continuous improvement and training across the wider finance team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage the end to end payables processes
  • Maintain, investigate, resolve, coordinate and control the WAP system to agreed process and SLA
  • Supplier payment forecasting.
  • Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve differences.
  • Execute weekly purchase ledger review.
  • Providing regular updates to the Finance Manager and highlighting potential issues when identified.
  • Support accounts payable projects as and when required
  • Management of escalated and complex queries
  • Report on KPI performance for the payables team
  • Assist with month end Management Account process

  • Problem solving abilities
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to motivate and influence others to best practice.
  • Proactive, positive, motivated, and confident approach to tasks and duties
  • Day to day workload management and prioritisation.
  • Confident telephone manner
