Purchase Ledger Clerk

Location: Blackburn - very flexible working hours
Salary: Up to £24k

Our exclusive client, a fast growing energy company based in Blackburn is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team of 20.. My client is looking for a team player to join their already fantastic team to help support the business during this exciting time.

Key responsibilities of the role:


  • Processing purchase invoices ensuring all delivery notes are received and approvals are in place
  • Auditing credit cards and expenses
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice/credit card/expense discrepancies and queries
  • Setting up new accounts and maintaining existing account details within Navision
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required



You must have:

  • A good knowledge and understanding of the accounts Payable function with a minimum of 12 months experience in an Accounts Payable role
  • Ability to interact with employees and clients in a professional manner
