Location : Rossendale

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, flexible hours, hybrid working model


Our client, based in Rossendale are in the process of expanding their accounts department and are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join the team. You will get exposure to a fast-paced accounts environment- with the chance to develop your skills over time. My client is looking for someone with a keen eye for detail that can improve processes and brig ideas to the table in order to streamline processes.


Job Description:

  • Matching, batching and coding around 800 invoices per month
  • Chase outstanding approvals.
  • Processing supplier payments.
  • Dealing with suppliers and resolving queries
  • Supplier reconciliations.
  • Implementing new processes
  • Reporting to management on new ideas and projects
  • Ad-hoc duties to assist the Finance Manager


Ideally you will:

  • Have strong knowledge of the purchase ledger process.
  • IT literate with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Have experience of working as part of a team
  • Great attention to detail
