Purchase Ledger Clerk

Role: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Blackburn - very flexible working hours
Salary: Up to £24k

Our exclusive client, a fast growing energy company based in Blackburn is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team of 20. My client is looking for a team player to join their already fantastic team to help support the business during this exciting time. This role would suit either someone starting off in their finance career or alternatively someone who is well established looking to join a well established business.

Key responsibilities of the role:

 
  • Processing purchase invoices ensuring all delivery notes are received and approvals are in place
  • Auditing credit cards and expenses
  • Liaise with internal departments and suppliers to resolve invoice/credit card/expense discrepancies and queries
  • Setting up new accounts and maintaining existing account details within Navision
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required



You must have:

  • A good knowledge and understanding of the accounts Payable function 
  • Ability to interact with employees and clients in a professional manner
