Project / Procurement Coordinator

Office hours: 8-4 / 8:30 - 4:30
Salary : £25k - £29k

My client are are seeking a talented and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Project/Procurement Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the project management and procurement functions within the company. You will work closely with project managers, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of projects and efficient procurement processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking project progress, and preparing project documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers to identify project risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including project schedules, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to contractual agreements and quality standards.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to facilitate the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolving any issues or disputes that may arise.

Requirements:

  • GCSE A* - C in Maths and English
  • Proven experience in project coordination and procurement within a similar industry.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
