Summary

As a Process Improvement Specialist, you will play a vital role in the Global Operations Planning team. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and enhance management information and reports for global operations. You will ensure that the reporting aligns closely with the needs of the business, enabling effective tactical and strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will act as the Lead on helping manage an extensive property portfolio and collaborating with various teams within the organisation, including Global Operations, Corporate Real Estate, and Corporate Central Finance and Treasury. Training can be provided across the relevant business processes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly Operational update calls across the group
  • Collaborate with operations teams at sites worldwide to gather data and benchmark operational performance
  • Assist in interpreting information and sharing best practices
  • Own and maintain key datasets for the end-to-end footprint
  • Develop accurate and relevant monthly Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports
  • Create and run reports for the Director of Global Operations
  • Support business strategic planning and review processes
  • Provide assistance to other strategic projects and management/business reviews as required
  • Manage the HT Property Lease Portfolio
  • Guide operating companies in obtaining approvals for Lease Renewals, new Lease Projects, and large CAPEX projects
  • Ensure alignment between HT Database, HT Global Ops Database, Corporate Lease Accelerator Database, and Corporate Real Estate GRED Database
  • Keep senior management informed about upcoming projects and advise operating companies to do the same
  • Provide training and leadership on new developments to ensure high-quality documents and an efficient approval process
  • Review HT Database for upcoming projects and advise the business on preparation for approval documents
  • Inform Senior Management teams about approval status, roadblocks, or potential issues, and facilitate the approval process to meet critical renewal dates
  • Ensure all involved parties retain necessary approvals

Experience Needed

  • Experience in manufacturing, spanning multiple functions
  • Bachelor's degree in an analytical subject preferred
  • Proficient in Excel, with knowledge of PowerPoint or Power Platform considered advantageous
  • Strong commercial awareness and business acumen
  • Delivery-focused with a hands-on approach
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure and meet changing deadlines
  • Highly self-motivated and proactive
  • Excellent interpersonal, listening, and influencing skills
  • Effective communicator
