What does the role involve?

  • Being responsible for the full recruitment life cycle including sourcing and shortlisting candidates, coordinating interviews and feeding back to successful and unsuccessful candidates.
  • Ensuring candidates have the best experience possible, keeping them updated throughout the process.
  • Liaising with external agencies, monitoring their performance and giving them updates on recruitment needs.
  • Maintaining and promoting relationships with the wider people, support colleagues and teams.
  • Pro-actively sourcing candidates using various platforms to continually increase the talent pool.
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to increase candidate interest.
  • Ensuring monitoring of sickness and absence trends are recorded effectively, providing advice and guidance accordingly.
  • Building relationships with universities and apprenticeship providers to explore this market when required.
