Salary:Up to £25,000 (Dependent on Experience)
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Specialist to join a professional payroll bureau on a permanent basis.
This is an exciting role for a forward-thinking Payroll Specialist to be involved in a team, which is looking to grow its client base over the next six months and beyond.
· Processing payroll for a range of payroll clients
· Managing SSP, SMP, SPP etc
· Processing new starters and leavers
· Providing payroll advice to clients both internal and external
· Responsible for the administration of all the companies pension schemes
· Completing HMRC paperwork including year-end submissions
· Notifying the Finance team of BACS payments
It is essential that you have proven payroll experience.
Strong computer skills are required, specifically Microsoft Excel, whilst previous experience using Star Payroll Professional is desired as is a good understanding of Auto Enrolment and the administration of Pension Schemes.
The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of general payroll statutory requirements and be a confident communicator. You must be able to work under own initiative to tight deadlines with the focus on accuracy.
