Payroll Manager

An experienced Payroll Manager is required to join my client based in Tameside on a full time permanent basis.

This business operate across the UK and having rapidly expanded over the last four years, the organisation has ambitious plans to grow even further.

Reporting into the CFO, you will be responsible for:

  • The timely and accurate processing of the monthly payrolls and the payment of taxable and non-taxable benefits (including pensions)
  • Managing 1 Payroll Clerk
  • Collate and process all new Starter information
  • Check leavers have been terminated correctly and the final holiday pay has been calculated accurately
  • Process, monitor, and calculate Statutory Maternity, Statutory Paternity and Statutory Sick Pay Schemes
  • Arrange the payment of staff salaries through the computerised payroll system
  • Ensure employee deductions have been processed
  • Deal will all payroll queries (from the very basic to the complex)
  • Auto-enrolment - administration of the company pension scheme
  • Month end Payroll reconciliations to include balance sheet reconciliations, Pensions, NI & PAYE
  • Year-end preparation and submission of P60's and P11d's

We're looking for someone with 4-5 years experience in a fast paced, high volume payroll processing role. Benefits include the option of working from home 2 days a week, free parking and a generous holiday entitlement.
