Payroll & HR Officer - Up to £30K - Great opportunitity to gain HR Experience and potential for CIPD Study Support

A trustworthy and longstanding client is looking for someone with Payroll experience who can really add value to the HR Team and streamline the Payroll Process. This is great opportunity for someone to apply their existing skills whilst gain great exposure to HR Administration.

Responsibilities include...

  • Complete end-to-end payroll processing for the UK.
  • Support and work with the wider HR team to ensure the smooth running of the function.
  • Assist with all areas of the employee life cycle process.
  • Administration of the Payroll process.
  • Be the first line of contact for handling employee's payroll and any queries they may have.
  • SSP,SMP,SPP and similar calculations & deductions.
  • Any area of HR Administration to suppoort the function
  • Run monthly annual leave and absence reports.
  • Administer and monitor Risk Management and Compliance Training.
  • Analaysis of trends and metrics.


Qualities of a successful candidate...

  • Essential - Has to have at least 2 years Payroll experience or very relevant experience in Payroll
  • Desireable - Previous experience working in a HR Function
  • Essential - IT/Systems Literate
  • Desirable - Sage experience
  • Essential - Excellcent interpersonal skills and communication skills
