Job Title: Payroll Clerk

About Us: Our client are a reputable and growing company located in Bolton. Committed to excellence in all aspects of operations, they are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Payroller to join the finance team.

You will play a crucial role in managing payroll processes accurately and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll principles, attention to detail, and excellent organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process and administer payroll for employees, ensuring compliance with legal and company policies.
  • Data Entry: Input and maintain employee data, including new hires, terminations, and changes to existing records.
  • Statutory Compliance: Stay informed about changes in payroll-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits, deductions, and contributions.
  • Payroll Reporting: Generate and analyze payroll reports, providing insights and recommendations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Payroller or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of payroll principles, taxation, and statutory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Proficiency in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
