Part Time Payroll Administrator

Payroll Administrator – Part Time

  • Salary dependent on Experience
  • Part time – Flexible working hours, perfect to suit school hours

Our exclusive client, a fast growing, global business is looking for Payroll Administrator to join them at a busy and exciting time! Joining a team of 4 in HR, this is a new position due to changes within the team, so a great opportunity to make the role your own. Ideally you will have experience of working within a fast paced environment where excellent organisation skills are required. You will have keen eye for detail and be able to manage your own workload.
Some of the duties will include:

  • Calculate overtime payments from timesheets Calculate gross to net calculations
  • Calculate and implement in month changes: new starters, salary deductions, salary supplement’s, overtime, fuel deductions and reimbursements, child care voucher scheme and attachments of earnings.
  • Process, deduct and manage company pension scheme in line with Employer duties.
  • Make changes to employee’s tax codes and student loans, in line with HMRC requirements.
  • Submit P46 start and stop notices to HMRC • Submit monthly FPS and EPS to HMRC
  • Full payroll check prior to finalising for payment
  • Upload and issue payslips
  • Run monthly reports for management
  • Complete month end journal
  • Administration and management of P11D system
  • Keep up to date with any and all upcoming changes in Government legislation and keep management informed of the effect on the business.
  • Also deal with earnings enquiries from various 3rd parties such as Job centre, Child support agency


The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Been in a recent Payroll Position with 12 months previous experience


My client is looking for someone that has recent payroll experience and who is therefore able to hit the ground running. Current knowledge of payroll related legislation is important, along with excellent communication skills and being IT literate.
