Management Accountant/Office Manager

Based: Burnley -flexible/reduced hours considered

Salary: dependent on experience + benefits

Our client is a leading, fast growing business based in Burnley. This is a brand new role due to growth and my client is looking for a Management Accountant/Office Manager to join them on a permanent basis, reporting directly into the General Manager/Interim CFO. We are looking for a confident, all round accountant that is happy to get involved in administrative duties as well as producing the month end accounts,


Role:

  • Producing full management accounts
  • Cash flow forecasting and intercompany reconciliations
  • Monthly journal preparation and postings
  • KPI reporting, balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing yearly audit file and annual budgets
  • Quarterly VAT returns, EEC sales report, half year end reporting
  • Reviewing and authorising overheads, processing supplier invoices and highlighting discrepancies
  • Reviewing purchase ledger, aged debt and cash flow
  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties including holiday forms, new starters and sending out relevant documents when required
  • Admin/adhoc duties

Experience:

  • Experience working within an SME
  • Adaptable
