Based: Leigh, Wigan - Hybrid
Salary: Up to 50k Plus excellent benefits including 30 days holiday plus bank holidays!

Our client is a leading services business extremely well-known throughout the North West. Sitting as part of a wider group this role will be working within a new, rapidly expanding business division as part of a recent restructure in a newly created role - an excellent opportunity to make it your own and grow within an ambitious business.

We are looking for a part qualified/qualified Accountant who is keen to join a business who can offer excellent exposure and future opportunities to grow. This role has both strategic area and divisional responsibilities so a great position to enhance your experience

• Review of month's GL transactions, ensuring that invoices are recorded on the correct GL codes and cost centres
• Updating prepayment and accruals schedules and preparing and posting journals based thereon
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Maintaining fixed asset registers and posting depreciation
• Explaining variances to budget
• Updating financial reporting models once journals have been posted
• Involvement in preparation of board pack
• Rolling files and preparing for the next month-end
• Preparing budgets and reforecasts
• Payroll checking, uploading to bureau and sending payments.
• Management of 2 staff (biller and box contract controller) and direct links to central processing

Experience:

• ACCA/CIMA part/fully qualified
• Strong excel and systems knowledge required
