Management Accountant

Management Accountant

Based: Trafford Park (hybrid)

Salary: up to £50k dependent on experience, 25 days + stats, bonus, health cashplan, 35 hour working week

 

Our client is a leading, ambitious services & property business extremely well-known throughout the North West. Established over 50 years ago the business has grown dramatically over the last few years, sitting as part of a wider group this role will be working within a new, rapidly expanding business division as part of a recent restructure in a newly created role – an excellent opportunity to make it your own and grow within an ambitious business.

We are looking for a driven, qualified Accountant with extensive experience they can bring to the role who is keen to continue developing in a business that can offer rotational roles within the business

Role:

  • Preparing monthly management accounts for a large business division
  • Monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Supervising a team of 2 part-qualified Accountants, developing and training
  • Preparing strategic papers and accounts for monthly board meeting
  • Management of cash and cashflow forecasting
  • Completing the annual budgets and monthly consolidations
  • Preparing statutory year-end accounts, year end audit packs and liaising with auditors
  • Quarterly P&L forecasting
  • Business partnering with wider team, working with key stakeholders on budgets, forecasts and challenging where needed
  • Providing support to Head of Finance and Finance Director on any projects across wider business

Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified Accountant
  • Strong management accounts preparation knowledge
  • Strong Excel and systems experience
  • Inquisitive mindset with a desire to learn and progress in the business
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with senior stakeholders
