Role: Legal cashier

Location: Preston + Hybrid Working

Salary: 21,000

We have multiple openings for full time positions on the behalf of our client, an impressive and reputable solicitors situated in Preston and Blackburn, please note, there is opportunity to work in either office depending on your location. Our client has a fantastic reputation with surrounding businesses and impressive plans for growth. Reporting into the team leader, you will join a dynamic team of legal cashiers with a strong focus on quality service.

Our client cares for their people with training and support always on hand. A generous 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays are on offer for all staff and the opportunity for 2 days' home working weekly, making this a phenomenal employer.

This role is ideal for candidates at any point in their career, with a minimum of 1 year in a similar role for the position and salary ranging on experience.

Your role will include:

  • Daily and Monthly Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing monies and chasing fee earners
  • Posting outgoing monies and transferring monies between accounts
  • Processing BACS payments
  • Posting direct debit and standing order payments
  • Filing bank statements and authorising payments

What we are looking for:

  • Strong time keeping
  • Self-motivation
  • Friendly personality
  • Team players
  • SRA Knowledge - strongly advantageous but not essential
  • 1 Years' experience or more in a similar role
