HR Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Manager to join a fast-growing legal company based in Manchester. In this role you will provide strategic and operational HR support to the Manchester office, whilst working as part of the wider UK HR team. Below are some of the key areas of responsibility:

  • Working with the Talent Manager in relation to recruitment needs
  • Managing the new starter and onboarding process
  • Providing effective ER advice to Managers
  • Taking responsibility for performance and absence issues
  • Working with the wider HR team to complete external salary benchmarking
  • Providing payroll information for the finance team and resolving employee payroll queries
  • Leading on the drafting of internal HR communications
  • Managing the HR system (People HR)
  • Updating HR policies and processes
  • Leading on TUPE activity

This is a great role for someone who is already working at Management level or someone looking to make a move from Senior Advisor into a Management role. If you have previously worked within a professional services environment this would be desirable, but candidates from other sector backgrounds will be considered.

Please note this role will be a combination of office and home working.
