Location: Preston

An opportunity has come up for a HR Manager to join an extremely successful business based in Preston. This role is on a full time, permanent basis.

What does the role involve?

  • Supporting line managers and the senior management team to address performance, conduct and absence concerns in line with company policies
  • Reviewing and continually improving the employee engagement and wellbeing strategy
  • Reviewing policies and procedures ensuring they are up to date with current guidelines
  • Being responsible for managing the full employee lifecycle
  • Being responsible for all new employees from offer letter onwards
  • Line managing two administrators who will assist the HR Manager with day-to-day admin
  • Supporting and advising on employee relations matters, including guiding managers on all disciplinaries and grievances

Who would be the right fit?

The role is a generalist role so the candidate who would be best suited to this position will have extensive experience from previous roles in HR. The candidate will have a positive and professional approach to work.
