HR Assistant - flexible hours

Job: HR Assistant (6 month FTC)

Location: Manchester

Salary: £21k - £25k (DOE)

Hours: Full time or part time / hours can be flexible, cycle store, free car park, accesible bus routes, nearby train station

I am working with a Manchester based pharmaceutical company who are looking for an experienced HR Assistant to join their team on a 6 month FTC (high chance it will go perm). This company are extremely forward thinking, fast paced and passionate about helping to cure diseases throughout the globe.

You will be working as part of a wider HR team, supporting the Advisors, Director and Business Partner with all the following:

• Delivery of New Starter Inductions and conduct associated right to work checks
• Manage maternity/paternity/adoption and flexible working processes
• Supporting administrative processes within the team i.e. management of administration tasks and e-filing of HR documentation
• Assisting with HR queries
• Assist with the monthly payroll, processing employee and benefit changes - working with UK Payroll and HR Shared Services to deliver a high level of customer service
• Assisting with payroll audits
• Assisting in the organisation of employee events
• Ad hoc support to the UK HR team and local projects when required

What you will need:

• Bachelor´s degree or an equivalent combination of skills and experience within HR
• CIPD Qualified (or working towards) - desirable
• Experience of working in a HR environment essential
• Strong organisation skills and excellent attention to detail
• Current knowledge of employment law, its application and HR 'best practice' (desirable)
• Good Microsoft Office skills
