HR Assistant

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: TraffordSalary: £18000 - £22000 per annum

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a HR Assistant to join a growing SME business based in Sale on a permanent, full-time contract. This is a busy and varied role where you will work alongside the HR manager on the following areas of HR:

  • Processing starters and leavers, ensuring new starter documentation and references are completed in a timely manner.
  • Supporting with the recruitment process and on boarding.
  • Assist the HR Manager with employee recognition activities.
  • Responsible for maintaining employee training records, ensuring training agreements are in place for all staff training undertaken.
  • Update HR with changes to personal details.
  • Deal with first level employee queries.
  • Assist with day to day operations of the HR department as directed by the HR Manager.
  • Log sickness/ absence of staff.

You must demonstrate a professional and positive approach to work with the ability to use your own initiative and work pro-actively.
