Location: Preston

An opportunity has arisen for someone who has experience in HR to join a successful company as a HR Advisor. The role is based in Preston on a full time, permanent.

What does the role involve?

  • Being the first point of contact in terms of general queries, providing advice and escalating queries to the HR manager as and when required.
  • Support employee relations cases including disciplinary and grievance, performance management and absence management.
  • Provide professional advice and guidance to first line managers and employees on HR policy and procedure, terms and conditions and legislation in a proactive and customer focused manner.
  • Involvement in recruitment activity, screening and interviewing candidates and ensuring they have a positive experience throughout the process.
  • Involvement in improvement projects, including general policy and procedure updates and amendments.

Who would be the right fit?

This role would suit someone who has had extensive experience as a HR Administrator/ HR Advisor. I am looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a professional approach to work and the ability to use their own initiative.
