HR Advisor

Job Title: HR Advisor

Location: Trafford Park 

A brand new role has been created within a division of a much larger business located in Trafford Park. This will be a stand alone role but will very much work closely with the HR team across the wider business. 

What does the role involve?

• Providing advice and support on all people related matters with involvement in disciplinary, investigations and grievance meetings, ensuring the processes are managed in line with policy.
• Ensuring monitoring of sickness and absence trends and recording effectively, providing advice and guidance accordingly.
• Responding to queries and case management, being responsible for personal time management and allocating time correctly.
• Working cooperatively with the HR Manager, escalating queries as and when required.
• Maintaining and promoting relationships with the wider people, support colleagues and teams.
• Participating in performance management and sickness management meetings, providing HR advice.
• Supporting project work as and when required.
• Ensuring induction and onboarding is carried out correctly and in line with company policy.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold CIPD Level 3 or above and have a couple of years’ experience within a HR role
• Be hard-working, ambitious and committed
• Have logical problem-solving skills, self-motivation, enthusiasm and the ability to work under pressure.
• Be willing to learn and develop a greater understanding of HR
• Be confident in abilities when it comes to advising and working closely with Managers
