Group Head of People

An opportunity to join a business putting people at the front of its people agenda in line with its commercial objectives. Reporting directly to one of the co-owners lends itself to the importance of this position within the organisation. You will design, lead, and implement a large number of HR projects from policies to initiatives whilst maintaining business as usual alongside the coaching and mentoring of a small HR team.

The ideal profile will have to understand that rolling your sleeves up is part of the business culture driven from the very top.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and deliver the people strategy in support of business goals and objectives
  • Provide strategic input to support business-wide decision making
  • Responsible for supporting employees across the UK, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, Asia and USA
  • Responsible for the full employee lifecycle
  • Coach and develop senior managers to ensure consistency across the organisation
  • Coordinate the leadership development programme
  • Lead and coach the HR team
  • Continuous improvement and embedding of all people policies and processes
  • Work collaboratively with the wider business to ensure attraction and retention of the best talent

As well have having relevant strategic HR experience the successful candidate for this role will be a true people person, able to demonstrate a successful career in HR with a proven track record in driving a people and culture agenda.
