Group Finance Analyst - first/second time ACA mover
Based: Manchester (1 day office, rest remote)
Salary: circa £60k + good benefits + flexible working

Our client are a leading services business based in Manchester. One of the worlds largest, privately owned businesses in their sector, they have been established over 150 years. Now global, operating in over 12 countries they continue to grow rapidly with new acquisitions and organic growth across the world. Due to their growth, they require a strong Finance Analyst to join the team who will provide a critical role in defining and enabling business change.
This role will be responsible for helping the business achieve their growth plans by collecting and analysing financial and commercial data to enable the senior management team to drive business decisions
Role:
- Proactive analysis on performance of 8 business units across Europe
- Build business cases including ROI to validate commercial opportunities, demonstrating impact on P&L and cashflow
- Producing high quality presentation of results and findings, presenting to senior leaders
- KPI setting, analysis and re-evaluating including post acquisition reviews
- Analyse external trends and market conditions to assist in evaluating strategic initiatives and identify commercial opportunities
- Providing support on key revenue streams and acquisitions
- Preparing scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Challenging areas of the business to create efficiencies
- Budget and strategy process assistance alongside Group FP&A Manager and CFO
Experience:
- Qualified Accountant ACCA/ACA - first/2nd time practice mover
- Financial modelling experience essential
- Advanced Excel skills. Hyperion/Power BI would be beneficial but not essential
- Excellent written and presentation skills - ability to present large amounts of data and complex information clear and precisely
- Ability to form strong effective relationships across various departments and managing multiple projects simultaneously
