Job Title: - Graduate Accounts Assistant
Salary: -£20,000 - £25,000 plus Full Study Support

Our client is a multifaceted business operating in the world of live events, media, and talent support services. Based at its head office in Lymm, Cheshire, the Finance Team are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to support the department's ever-increasing workload.
Holding a relevant Higher Education qualification OR having a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role, the successful candidate will offer a flexible approach to the demands of the department.
To support their plans for further growth, we are looking for a candidate to work alongside the Financial Controller. Our client offers a fantastic working atmosphere with free onsite parking and an annual salary of up to £25,000.
What does the role involve?
The successful candidate will support the team of accountants to help to fulfil the departments objectives. In return, the experience, exposure, and training will be first class for candidates looking to increase and/or broaden their skill set.
Responsibilities include:
- Generating monthly management accounts
- Budgeting, forecasting and statutory accounting
- Managing purchase and sales ledgers
- Managing bank accounts
- Processing, reconciling, and reporting on all aspects relating to business/client performance
- Any ad-hoc duties
Who would be the right fit?
- A degree, or accounting qualification in a relevant field- Maths, Economics, Accounting and Finance etc. OR 12 months experience in a similar role
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent IT Skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload
- Excellent ability to use initiative, problem solve and resolve issues
