Our client, a multi million turnover Food Manufacturing business based in Bolton is looking for a Finance Graduate to join their team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will gain exposure to the full accounting process, enabling you to attain a very varied understanding.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering full study support and additional leave for study days/exams.

Some of the duties are as follows:

  • Assist in the preparation of Site overheads files
  • Assist with the preparation of site overhead accrual & prepayments.
  • Preparation & posting of weekly / periodic journals
  • Reconciliation of site balance sheet control accounts in line with period end timetable
  • Responsibility for banking staff shop takings and reconciling petty cash
  • Analyse & process weekly warehousing, picking and distribution invoices (predominantly Warrens). Preparation & update of weekly logistics accruals file
