Fraud & Financial Crime Team Manager

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: ManchesterSalary: Up to £40000 per annum + Benefits


A well-established organisation based in Manchester are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Team Manager to join their team on a permanent basis, paying up to £40,000pa dependant on experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Fraud and Financial Crime teams, who focus on protecting the businesses and their valued customers.
Please see below an overview of your duties:

  • Managing the Fraud and Financial crime teams, including supporting your team members with their personal and professional development; helping them to achieve their objectives and supporting them day to day
  • Working closely with the Head of Financial Crime to meet operational objectives
  • Weekly meetings with your team to ensure outstanding performance, ensuring the team runs at optimum level using effective delegation
  • Identify areas for departmental improvement, including improvement of processes, systems & training
  • Ensuring business needs are met from Team Managers and the Operational team
  • Motivating, leading and supporting the team
  • Ensure customers and victims are satisfied, their issues fixed quickly and ensuring action is taken promptly
  • Other management & operational duties


The ideal candidate will have the following skills & experience:

  • Previous experience in a Fraud/ Financial crime environment
  • Previous Team Management experience
  • Excellent people manager, with a developmental leadership style
  • Hands on and a problem solver, who can work within a fast paced and busy environment
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Comfortable reviewing and analysing data
  • Hardworking, committed and positive


In return, you will receive the following:
