FP & A Manager

Blackpool - Hybrid/flexible hours - needs to get to Blackpool 1 day per week
Up to 50k PLUS bonus

Our client is a fast growing company based in Blackpool, looking for an FP & A Manager to join their growing finance team, you will be responsible for 1 direct report and will be reporting to the Finance Director. The FP&A Manager is responsible for providing senior management with the financial analysis and information they need to make operational, financial, and strategic decisions. The FP&A Manager will play a key role in improving both the short- and long-term planning to drive business success.

Ideally you will be part qualified/qualified. This role will provide study support towards ACCA/CIMA qualifications if required.

Duties:

  • Create recommendations to be presented to management and stakeholders.
  • Develop financial models to support planning, and forecasting.
  • Reconcile existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.
  • Analysis and monitoring of KPIs
  • Assist in analysing results; monitoring variances; identifying trends; recommending actions to management.
  • Reconciliation of flow through internal business systems
  • Providing an essential role in the company's annual budgeting process
  • Productivity, utilisation, and capacity analysis
  • Creating formats to highlight attention areas and variances.
  • Monitor all ad-hoc requests and prepare appropriate reports for analysis.
