Our client is a leading technology business based in the Blackburn area. Due to a recent restructure a new opportunity has presented itself in the finance team. Reporting into the Financial Controller you will provide insight and support to the Finance Business Partners, monitoring financial performance whilst highlighting commercial areas for improvement. The company are a global business offering fantastic opportunities internally, we have recruited a number of finance people over the last 3 years due to their growth and they offer a fantastic team and working environment.

Role:

  • Develop and maintain regular financial reports and dashboards
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of business performance and provide recommendations for improvements
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Ensure accurate reporting and analysis of key performance indicators
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
  • Support performance reviews through accurate and reliable information delivery and as part of this, assisting with commercial analysis to allow commercial decisions and new business cases to be reviewed by developing tools to improve sales and profitability forecasting and planning.
  • Maintaining/developing PowerBI reporting functionality and handling queries from the Commercial teams.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Ability to analyse complex information and propose recommendations - confident in your ability
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Critical thinking and ability to translate effectively to execution planning
  • Strong financial focus and skill to drive profitable choices
