Financial Reporting Manager (ACA)

Based: Warrington (home based with occasional travel to office)

Salary: highly dependent on experience. Excellent, rapidly expanding business with opportunities for development

Role will be home based and remote working for the future with occasional travel to the office for meetings. You MUST be based in the North West commutable to Warrington

Our client is a leading, well-known service provider based in Warrington. Established nearly 30 years ago, they have extensive experience within their industry and a workforce of 300 staff servicing their customers. As they continue to diversify their offerings the business is growing year on year offering a really exciting time to join the business


We are looking for a first time mover from practice who is ACA qualified and keen to join a progressive, PE backed business for their first industry move. Ideally you will be big 4/top 10 trained and have a desire to progress in a growing company

Role:

  • Ensuring deadlines are met for the consolidated results for the group
  • Supporting external reporting requirements including monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to investors
  • Preparing consolidated group financial statements in compliance with IFRS
  • Liaising with external bodies regarding filings, tax returns etc.
  • Main point of contact for external auditors to deliver group consolidated financial statements for UK subsidiaries
  • Supporting the control and governance team ensuring group financial control framework is implemented across the business
  • Responsible for continuous improvement of the reporting systems and control processes as the business grows

Experience:

  • ACA Qualified Accountant from a top 10 practice
  • Strong audit experience
  • Experience of group consolidations and IFRS highly beneficial
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and investors
