Financial Reporting Analyst

Financial Reporting Analyst

Based: Wigan area

Salary: up to £36k dependent on experience, study support CIMA/ACCA if required. WFH with flexible working hours, excellent benefits and opportuntiies to progress

Our client is a global manufacturing business offering a strong portfolio of internationally recognised brands. They continue to design, develop and manufacture high quality products across a large number of entities and with a large number of acquisitions over the last few years, the business continues to grow dramatically year on year. Now part of a wider group, this role will sit under the UK Head of Finance with extensive communication with the wider European group.

We are looking for a candidate with experience of an Analyst role within a large, ideally international, business. The company will fund studies for CIMA/ACCA if desired.

Role:

  • Responsible for European consolidation work across Europe including reconciliations
  • Responsible for group accounting duties - financial reporting for both monthly management purposes and external financial reporting purposes
  • Main POC for internal audit
  • Reviewing and challenging results for Europe including debtors reviews & margin analysis
  • Analytically reviewing balance sheet and P&L for Europe
  • Co-ordinating various queries from teams across Europe & the US
  • Capex reporting across the group
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory requirements and assisting

Experience:

  • Experience in an Analyst role - proven experience in analytically reviewing balance sheet & P&L essential
  • Experience working within a large organisation (ideally international)
  • SOX, US GAAP & FRS102 experience highly beneficial
  • Ability to multi task and work to tight deadlines
  • Analytical & logical thinker
