Financial Controller - Part Time

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: OldhamSalary: £65000 - £75000 per annum + pro rata

A leading learning and development organisation are looking to recruit a Financial Controller on a Part Time basis. This is a new role created due to business growth via large contract wins. The role would suit either an experienced Financial Controller looking for part time work or a previous FD working on a portfolio basis. Key focuses will include:

  • Providing support and mentorship to the newly promoted Finance Manager
  • Provide insight, advice and recommendations to Senior Management Team to support strategic decision making
  • Ensuring monthly and annual accounts are timely and accurate
  • Monitor and develop financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee HMRC compliance, including PAYE, VAT returns and corporation tax
  • Manage the budget process from planning through to approval
  • Liaise with external accountants and auditors
