Financial Controller

A leading manufacturer are looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is an excellent opportunity where you will be working with the senior team both strategically and operationally by providing financial insight which will determine commercial and operational decisions. Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on financial planning processes (budgeting and forecasting)
  • Analysis of site performance, recommending improvements in revenue, costs and margins
  • Ensuring that profit margins and service levels are maximised
  • Carry out monthly re-forecasting and cash flow advising the Board of Directors of any key changes to plan
  • Provides leadership to the Finance team, ensure objectives are set in line with the wider business and monitored
  • Identify all aspects of financial risk, develop the appropriate solutions to mitigate them
  • Establish robust controls
  • Drive significant improvements in relation to the interpretation of financial performance

Suitable candidates must be qualified and have manufacturing experience, have the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders and have strong Excel skills. If you are working towards becoming a Finance Director this will be a great next step for you. Please apply for immediate consideration.
