Pay Bracket: £30,000 - £40,000

This is an exclusive opportunity with Four Recruitment to join a leading service provider based in Bolton as a Financial Accountant. Joining a close-knit and down to earth team of 6, your role will be to assist the Team Leader in a mixture of responsibilities, gaining study support and training opportunities from established members of the team.

This role offers a great opportunity for those who are already working within financial accounting, or candidates with the suitable skillset who are looking for a new challenge and step upward to progress their careers.

 Your main roles and responsibilities:

Reporting directly into the Head of Financial Accounting, your role will include the following:

  • Cost Allocations
  • Calculating accruals
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Assisting in internal audit
  • Journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing month end reconciliations
  • Posting cash books to general ledger

The ideal candidate will have:

A strong candidate for this position will have an interest in bettering themselves and those around them, with a proven interest in financial accounting. Our ideal profile is someone who is technically strong, but is also wanting to learn and grow – with full study support on offer.

  • Minimum experience of 12 months in a similar level position
  • Strong ability within Excel and data manipulation
  • A friendly personality and commitment to the team
  • Experience working within a shared services centre is highly advantageous
  • Studying a professional accounting qualification – whether ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT
