Based: Burnley – hybrid working available
Salary: Up to 50k, plus excellent benefits – lunch time finish on a Friday, Flexi time scheme and up to 10% pension

Our client are an international, world leading manufacturing business growing from strength to strength in Burnley, looking for a systems savvy Financial Accountant to join the team on a permanent basis. Reporting into the Financial Controller, you will help manage and deliver all aspects of financial management within the business. Working closely with the management accounting function to deliver accurate and robust financial information to the rest of the business.

Our client will consider someone QBE or part qual/qualified. Study support can also be provided if the successful candidate requires this.

Role:

• Monthly management accounts preparation and general ledger closing, including journal posting
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packs
• Completing month-end presentations
• Assisting with statutory accounting preparation and liaison with external auditors
• Balance sheet reconciliations each month
• Stock reporting
• Cash management including review of daily bank reconciliations & supporting with expense payments
• Submission of accurate and timely monthly rolling cash forecast
• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Ensuring adherence to internal controls policies and procedures
• Liaising with group financial staff and Financial Shared Service Centre

Experience required:

• Financial Accounting experience is essential
• Strong Excel knowledge is essential
• Organised, able to multi task and results focused
