Finance Manager

Leading UK digital Marketing company based in Altrincham, South Manchester are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join the business on a full time basis.

You will be part of our growing accounts team based in companies friendly Altrincham offices.

As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the finance team and financial processes. This is an essential role, as part of a finance team of six people ensuring the smooth day to day running of the finance function reporting into the Finance Director.

This is the perfect opportunity for someone with existing management experience that is looking for an opportunity of becoming a key member of the management team in a fast paced business.

Due to continued growth, this role also offers fast track opportunities into Senior Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Responsibility for the management of the Finance Team
  • Ownership of FP&A, working with the Head of Products to create the Annual Operating Plan as well as quarterly reforecasts
  • Preparation of annual operating plan and forecasts across various cost centres
  • Responsible for accurate preparation of year end accounts for submission to accountants
  • Ensuring the financial processes are robust and suitable for Audit
  • Overseeing MI function, developing commercial reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Production of monthly Shareholder Pack
  • Working on ad hoc projects to improve and streamline systems

Experience required

  • At least 1 years' experience in a similar role with previous exposure to management
  • Qualified / Part Qualified accountant
  • Advanced Excel abilities
  • Effective Communicator - able to communicate with staff at all levels within the business
  • Acts with honesty and integrity
  • Exceptional IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
  • Ability to work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Sage 200 experience - desirable
  • Sage 50 Payroll experience - desirable
