Finance Manager

Employment Type: PermanentLocation: StockportSalary: £26000 - £30000 per annum


Finance Manager
Salary: up to £28,000 plus car allowance
Location: Stockport


A well-established £12m t/o SME are looking for an established Finance Manager to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a newly created role due to growth of the business, reporting into the Finance Director you will be responsible for:

  • Processing accounts up to trial balance
  • Accruals, prepayments
  • Posting journals
  • Overseeing a team of 4 transactional staff
  • Working alongside Business and Systems support
  • Supporting Payroll Manager with monthly statutory reporting
  • Overseeing payment processes including bank transfers and BACS payments
  • Leading the development of the team
  • Creating monthly reports for executive team
  • Review of financial controls and potential operational efficiencies
  • Dealing with internal and external queries relating to payroll, purchase orders, invoices etc


Ideal candidate:

  • Sage experience
  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, ideally with management experience
  • AAT Qualified
