Finance Manager (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)

Based: Carnforth area

Salary: up to £50k dependent on experience, growing business offering excellent opportunities for progression

Our client is a leading, global organisation who are experiencing continuous growth due global to acquisitions. This role will look after global finance activities for a growing subsidiary within an exciting market. Due to future acquisitions and growth, this role will have the ability to offer strong exposure within finance in a commercial role and excellent career progression in a hugely successful company

We are looking for a newly qualified Accountant (industry or practice first time mover) who is keen to join an exciting company where they can learn and develop their career

Role:

  • Creating reports and financial analysis for US business
  • Month end board pack including commentary, cashflow, KPI's and board reporting packs
  • Producing accurate monthly management accounts and cost reports
  • Preparing statutory accounts for the group with supporting schedules under IFRS for half end and year end
  • Quarterly VAT returns, ensuring details correct
  • Preparing year end reporting packs for external auditors, liaising with external audit team during audit
  • Maintain financial controls and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
  • Assisting with acquisition finances and integration of new businesses to the group
  • Preparing budget, financial forecasts and KPIs. Analysing and reporting on variances
  • Managing tax compliance process, SAO compliance and monthly and year end management accounts process
  • Reporting - internal and external
  • Assisting with future acquisitions and a newly created business that is thriving
  • Business partnering internally with operations, sales - heavily commercial

Experience:

  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualified (industry or practice first time mover)
  • Strong commercial acumen or financial accounting (tax, audit)
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a dynamic team
  • Reporting experience highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills essential
