Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER
Kendall
Salary – Up to 40k, depending on experience


Our client, a family run, successful business based in Kendal is looking for a Finance Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Our client s looking for a finance professional with robust technical skills required, able to provide financial support and assimilate data into meaningful financial information .


You must have an analytical mind set and must be thorough, accurate & comfortable when working to achieve a deadline.


Duties include;


Managing an accounts office
Manage month end procedures, accruals & pre-payments & nominal postings
Prepare & share Management Accounts for review
Ensure company’s cash flow is managed and daily cash & forecasts prepared
Prepare monthly reconciliation for invoice discounting & the company’s bank
Preparation of VAT returns & HMRC submissions, statistical returns etc
Take ownership of intercompany transfers & maintain, implement improvements & procedures allocating work where appropriate
Ensure credit control procedures are properly applied
Administer workplace pension scheme
