Our client is a family run organisation that operates across a number of sites and provides vital support services to people and communities. They have a dedicated team and excellent reputation which has led to steady expansion. They have now reached a point where the business requires an experienced Group Finance Manager to oversee all the sites in East Lancashire.

A key aspect of this role will be supporting the FD in developing a clear structure, driving change, modernising where necessary and raising the profile of the finance department to ensure it adds value to the rest of the business. The ideal candidate for this role must therefore be an ambitious individual preferably with experience of a growing multi-site business. The key duties for this position will be:

Role:

• Preparing detailed management accounts for each site
• Developing KPI’s that drive efficiency and profitability
• Providing analysis to support business planning and commercial activities
• Over-seeing day to day transactions and payroll
• Monitoring cash and capital expenditure projects
• Help managers introduce policies and new systems
• Provide support to the annual audit process
• Implement recommendations from audit outcomes
• Managing the production of statutory accounts and the audit process
• Deal with HMRC, VAT and PAYE matters
• Point of contact for funding and grant applications
• Negotiating commercial terms with suppliers and other service providers
