Finance Director

Are you an ambitious Financial Controller looking to move into the seat of the FD or recently promoted Finance Director wanting to move into a business that matches your own ambitious objectives? If you are answering yes to any of the above, then this role is likely be of interest.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be a highly-analytical and commercial FD, who will oversee the company's financial planning and accounting operations. You will be playing a huge part in the expansion and continued growth of the business and will continue to build the finance team.

Responsibilities and duties;

• Establishing targets, developing budgets, and performing financial analysis.

• Technical financial projects to deliver liaising closely with the Directors.
• Oversee the financial strategic planning of the company by evaluating its performance and potential risks.
• Perform regular financial analysis.
• Develop budgets that meet the requirements of company departments.
• Establish targets and manage all accounting and finance employees including management accountants and internal auditors.
• Supervise all audit and internal control processes.
• Prepare detailed reports on the company's financial performance.
• Guarantee compliance with financial laws and guidelines.
• Recognize patterns in company spending, revenue, and recommend solutions to any problem areas.
• Coordinate with external financial entities on behalf of the company.
• Positively impact and influence internal stakeholders and external partners;

In order to be considered you must be a fully qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA. You will be commercially savvy with strong focus on business development and growth. You will be strategic thinker, who is confident with managing complicated cross-functional projects and influencing change across senior stakeholders, both internal and external. Experience of retail/manufacturing or e-commerce would be seen as an advantage.
