Finance Business Partner / Management Accountant

Finance Business Partner

Based: Runcorn area - hybrid working

Salary: up to £53k + great bonus + benefits including enhanced pension, 25 days + stats and progression opportunities

Our client are a large, rapidly expanding business with sales of £7billion globally (circa £250m UK). We are looking for a qualified Accountant who is keen to join a progressive company in a Finance Business Partner role. You will have a fantastic mentor to continue to develop your career, working under a great FD offering strong exposure across the business

We are looking for a qualified Accountant - someone with commercial/business partnering experience OR a strong management accountant with a desire to embark on a commercial role

Role:

  • Supporting UK business by modelling financial scenarios and business partnering with key stakeholders to influence business decisions
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders being eyes and ears of finance across the company
  • Supporting managers with controlling and managing costs within their budget
  • Improving and developing business models to deliver accurate and consistent information
  • Development of functions/departmental KPI's with Managers
  • Producing forecasts, budgets and medium-term strategies for business units and cost centres - uploading to SAP
  • Cost of goods adjustments review for forecasting purposes
  • Preparing, uploading and checking balance sheet, P&L, key figures, FTE
  • Ensuring consolidations are complete for forecasting
  • Sales and EBIT review and reconciliation for month end
  • Preparing month end journals, management reporting and monthly management numbers
  • Producing monthly sales reports and models
  • Sales commentary and preparation to feed into monthly board pack

Experience:

  • ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified accountant - essential
  • Strong management accounts OR business partnering experience
  • A desire to work in a commercially focused role
  • Large, global business experience would be hugely beneficial but not essential
  • SAP experience beneficial
